Dude I’m in love with that neck pickup. Had a really surprising amount of lot of hollow to it even untapped. The tilt boost I think is more my flavor of gain structure but this pedal sounds Great. Versatile and incredibly dynamic.

Sounds so good paired with the Imperial! Modern Eagle is the perfect demo guitar. Great playing. AT and R.Kelley are a magic combo! Nicely tuned pedal.

Yeah! All those wiring options on the guitar really gave me an opportunity to take this pedal to some really great places and the amp was perfect platform to show the subtlety of the pedal. AT and RK knocked this one out of the park :)

Amazing demo. Loving this pedal. I prefer the Phat Mod setting, so I guess I could have just bought the Super Phat Mod, but the Super AT Mod is so beautiful to look at! ;)

Love that you played some Linda Ronstadt. As for the pedal, I’m convinced it’s one of the best overdrives out there. I don’t see it leaving my board anytime soon.

Great pedal and demo! I play through a Tone King Imperial MKII so I was really curious how it sounded. I found that the JHS Morning Glory really compliments the sound of the amp, but I’m still looking for the right pedal to add the right “colored” punchy drive on the clean channel for a little more versatility. I would appreciate your thoughts on this pedal for my situation. Thanks!
@JayLeonardJ Жыл бұрын
Man, I would be more hard pressed to find an overdrive the Imperial DOESN'T blend well with. That is actually why I use it on so many videos: it is such a wonderful platform to highlight the strengths of almost anything you put into it :)

How is this not reinventing the BD2 wheel? Not aiming any of this at Keeley but how far removed from a standard BD2 are any of the eg. Keeley BD2 variants in terms of how they sound? Are we about to have yet another ‘Bad Monkey’ moment? I want to think not but instinct says otherwise.
@Unusednickname_1970 Жыл бұрын
The Super AT Mod is quite different from the stock BD-2. Might not come across on KZbin, but played side by side the AT has smoother clipping, and different EQ. The Phat setting is pretty close to the custom setting on the BD-2W, but the AT setting is its own thing. Really tightens up the low end. Great with humbuckers. The Keeley is pricey, no doubt. But even though it is derived from the BD-2 I don’t think there’s anything else quite like it.

@Robert Keeley your pedals are awsome. I love the Halo 😇
@IndieRocknRollRadio Жыл бұрын
The pedals are two different styles of overdrive and, as Robert Keeley says, will sit well together on anyone’s pedalboard. This pedal is based on the Keeley Super Phat mod pedal, which in turn is based on the mod Robert made to the Blues Driver pedal. The JHS AT pedal is based on the JHS Angry Charlie pedal, which in turn is based on (dirtier) British style amps, so two different styles of overdrive that stack well together.
@FaberGT86 Жыл бұрын
@@IndieRocknRollRadio well explained! The JHS AT+ is mainly the pedal for his lead sounds.
