We LOVE eating rabbit meat! It's seen the same here in the USA... most people here think of rabbits as pets, but some people raise them for food. My favorite part of eating rabbits is their back straps... just like chicken breast meat! The meat is very lean and higher in protein than any meat sold here in the grocery stores. We love sharing with our family and friends too! Thanks for sharing! 🐇😍✌️

Wow. Thank you so much po Sir Dex for bringing back the Rabbit related contents. There is more to learn in raising these fluffy rabbits. Hoping that the rabbit industry will keep on rising despite the perception of the people. Looking forward for the comeback of the rabbitry again in your farm. As always kudos. 👏

Yes, but harder to find the buyers. So if the society are not that good, better just consume the rabbit meat by your own self. I mean by your own family. Farmer's family. But of the society able to accept rabbit meat, u can sell the meat.

Great video, as always Sir Dexter! Greetings from sunny Florida in the US. When I was a small child, my grandfather raised rabbits for food, though mostly just for family, not for business as you are doing. He used cages similar to yours though not nearly as many and would put a wooden box filled with straw or similar bedding in the cage for the pregnant females. It's been over 40 years since I have eaten rabbit, but I remember liking it as a child. He also raised pigs for a while and had a large food garden, but as he got older it became too much work to handle alone and they lived in the woods with very few neighbors nearby. I always loved it when we got to visit. Your video brought back some nice childhood memories for me. Thanks. I was curious... Do you do anything with the rabbit pelts? 🐇🐰

We raise our rabbits using the colony or communal system as it is the most natural and humane way. Our rabbits are happy and healthy, thriving on a diverse range of grasses, vegetables and herbs, all produced on the property. Zero outside imports except for rock minerals and salt licks. Our family eats one or two rabbits per week, along with quail, chickens, pigeons and catfish. Life is great here!

Rabbit meat is my favorite. Here in Uganda we are still establishing local market for Rabbit meat as well as increasing production. Am a commercial farmer in rabbitry but my challenge has always been premature death. I don't; in-breed,expose my kits to coldness breed young does but the challenge still shows up. Three weeks ago I lost over 150 kits(3 weeks- 2 months old) due to the same cause. I like your videos and have always followed them since I joined. Please help me get out of this problem. Thanks

I am not into eating animals anymore..it is easy to enclose them with no way to run so it is not fair. No way to defend themselves. It is not fair to animals to live this way. They should live comfortably not in cages. Cages are for criminals. Enclose a piece of land let them run.

Breeding Rabbits its not easy as you think .. at malabo sumikat sa Pilipinas dahil bago ka bumili ng Rabbit uunahin mo muna bumili ng Manok , isda , Gulay , baboy , .. dahil mas mahal ang meat ng Rabbit .. sa hirap ng buhay ngayon uunahin pa ba nila ang mas mahal na Rabbit meat 😅😅
