We also use "Bounce" fabric softener to get bugs off the leading edge and props, without scratching the paint. Did this on our Long-EZ and now Velocity! Keep up the good work on here...Canards pilots are the best! IFLYBIGSKY

It's also available at your local Walmart. Or, like me, you could use a Prince Prop (black carbon fiber) and never even notice the stain in the first place.

We've got a bottle of this stuff in the laundry room, my mom(81 yrs old now) swears by it for its spot cleaning of hard stains so, Go Figure? I'll tell her it does "propellers" as well...lol, she'll get a kick out of that. peace & GB ALL

It would still go through the prop if it was pointed down, but we actually get a little bit of additional thrust by having it point straight back.

I’ve always wondered why most canards don’t have black props. Seems a lot easier. Hell the props on my Piaggio Avanti are black 😂

If you can't find Goof Off then the original is Goo Gone.

Isn't that a composite prop? (Perhaps not). If so, don't you need to be careful your Goof Off isn't having some effect on it that could weaken the prop? Maybe epoxy is impervious to everything?

That Goof Off/Goo Gone stuff works on everything.. you have a good point that it might not be safe for certain specialized materials
