That hospital was not the best of ours Lahore has some very good hospitals with latest machines ... probably you were taken to whatever was nearest or known to the people accompanying you...There is state of the art technologically advance level machinery in big hospitals of Lahore

The comparison at the end of the video is uncalled for. You are comparing a random pvt clinic/hospital with another to infer that all the pvt hospitals in one country would be in similar condition. It is not like that. There are some 200 pvt hospitals in Lahore only; some would be good while other might not be as good. Come outta the bloody colonial mentality. We are living in 2024. Anyone can search on internet for himself to see the reality.

Yet, while you might be right, that there are probably other better and more up-to-date clinics or hospitals in Pakistan (which BTW, I've never said there aren't), I was clearly surprised, rather shocked to find a digital x-ray machine in such poor condition in what was so-called a private (non-governmental) hospital. So, please leave out any of the foolish colonial talk or any political nonsense from a simple experience that I was sharing. Because let's face it, you would not find even one such a machine anywhere in England, even in a public non private sector clinic. This has nothing to do with colonialism or trying to bring a negative light to Pakistan. In fact, check out all my other videos, and you won't find another vlogger that is showcasing Pakistan in such a positive light as I do. Yet, I wanted to share my experience and show how weird it was to be checked by a digital machine that looks rather from a few centuries ago.

@peace_travels Saying that this is a pvt hospital in Lahore and this is London is juxtaposing hospitals of the two cities: discourse matters, brother. A pvt clinic owned by an individual cannot represent other hospitals in the city. I live in a remote village of Pakistan and there are local clinics with a lot better machines than that! I have observed that youtubers from the West tend to show the old conjested bazars when they visit Pakistan/India/Bangladesh etc. All the majors cities in Pakistan are divided into The Old and The Modern parts. You ppl just show the busy old bazars and not the other parts to show the pace of social and infrastructural changes in the region.

A credible estimate suggests that Britain extracted approximately $45 trillion (in today's value) through unfair trade practices, heavy taxation, and other means, leading to widespread poverty and underdevelopment in the region. We have been through the recovery phase; things are getting better for us only now. When critical, be critical+ impartial through and through.
