You can also use A dorian over this track if you choose your notes wisely.
A Dorian scale: A B C D E F# G A
As you can see, the only difference between the two scales is the third scale degree. A minor third bent, slid or hammered on to a major third gives a very bluesy sound and can fit well over this track.
