How much fluid can the great chalice carry? well... We know that a Minecraft block is a cubic meter, and that each block is divided by 16x16x16 voxels. The part that actually carries the liquid is 5 voxels high and the edges are 2 voxels thick. If the bottom of the glass is 1 voxel thick (meaning the liquid height is 6 voxels) then the liquid would be contained in a 14x14x10 voxel space (or 1960 voxels). Assuming 1 voxel is 1/4096 of a cubic meter, then the total liquid contained would be 126.410455 gallons. That is one big drink.
