The architect Federico Delrosso has designed a glass annex with the aim of being a small refuge surrounded by nature. The house is located on top of a hill in Biella and is surrounded by windows to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view. It was important that the rectangular structure, built using steel, concrete and glass, helped to accentuate the connection with the surrounding nature.
The furnishings of the house, carefully designed by Federico Delrosso Architects, aim to maximize the efficiency of the spaces, while maintaining a warm and welcoming tone. In particular, the birch wood gives a touch of warmth and familiarity to the environment, helping to create a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
The structure, built by the Panuccio Costruzioni company, characterizes the shape of this house. The architecture is made up of two simple horizontal slabs in exposed reinforced concrete resting on six metal columns, in order to have each side of the house transparent to create communication with the outside.
In addition to being a splendid residence, this annex can also be used as a location for events and conferences. The structure, in fact, was designed to be versatile and functional, able to adapt to the needs of different activities.
