I have followed the instructions and the descaling light will not go out. Not happy

So frustrating. Instructions are wrong. It is not the two espresso buttons they tell you to push simultaneously. That doesn't do anything. IMPORTANT You need to push the top and bottom Espresso buttons together for 5 seconds with the power off to make it descale. Then press the right hand espresso to start the descaling process. then follow instructions. I've had my coffee machine for years and it takes for ever to figure out each time so thought I'd post this!

thanks for this, sadly it doesn't work. with the power off i press top and bottom and it beeps, but then nothing else happens. i then press the right espresso but also nothing. do you mind explaining what you mean by 'then follow instructions' please. As in you then turn the power on and follow instructions after the first two parts? thanks

@@SamanthaEwins will still not work, i found it in the end, if you have the lavazza mug and the thing that makes milk to foam you have to attach that as well and afterwards you start the program, and on the black tub from the thing will also come water out not only on the part where the coffee comes out.
