Megan, she has the right to eat expensive crab pot without telling you. You just want a free meal!

It doesn't make sense that she eats free so she can have her affair regardless she would have to feed her family, she doesn't get cash from her mom friends I think its funny that they never think their doing something wrong

Why are all the meeting places near a train or bus station?
@gregwilson781811 ай бұрын
LOL - I think in India, they think that all the high class places are near train stations. They try to adapt these to western culture, but they don't know that it's the complete opposite in the United States. No one travels by train - in some big cities, they use the subway but the stations are usually in poor or bad areas. In Tokyo, they do travel by train, and maybe these are affluent areas - either way, these are written by Asians (Japan, India, China, etc.) so they do not translate well into American.

You didn’t let me steal from you. You’re the one who’s in the wrong! I didn’t bring money because I planned to steal from you.

If anyone showed up at a restaurant uninvited, Any one with a brain would immediately tell the server that anything that person orders will be on their own separate bill. Easy peasy.These stories are just stupid!! I go out with my adult sons and their families several times a year.They tell the server who is on which bill. Of course, one of them always insist on paying for my dinner.I invite them to dinner at my home occasionally, so they insist this is only right. I love my children!!

Why do you have so many of this type of story? Same story, different restaurant, hotel, etc.
@gregwilson78183 ай бұрын
In American restaurants, before you start ordering, the waitress/waiter asks you how to do the bill - doesn't matter if there is a reservation or not. The reservation only reserves the table and possibly penalizes you if you don't show (charges a nominal fee). If the parties show, the reservation has nothing to do with payment. It's up to the waitress to sort out the payment method. At that time, if you say the uninvited guest is not with you or say separate checks, they cannot "force" you to pay. You can't tell them to put you on someone else's check, because they will verify it. Maybe these fake story tellers should actually go to a real restaurant first before writing stories about when they do not clearly understand how they work...

Background music is too high. Lower, please.

After about 4 minutes, I stopped reading (always have the volume off, so can't comment on voices or background noise etc. Another rather stupid story. As other people have commented, the restaurant bit is illogical in itself, but what I find extremely stupid is the new definition of "weekend". Dear me! A weekend is always a weekend, if somebody's husband has, say, Wednedsay off, or Friday, then that's Wednesday or Friday, not "our familiy's kind of weekend". I suppose the children still go to school Mo - Fr or even Saturday. These Smile Texts are obviously Asian, since crab hot pot and stuff like this doesn't sound very American. And this mom friend stuff, is this American? I know the PTA, and I can understand that the mothers of children sharing a class or school might get to know each other better, but all this mom friends bullying seems ridiculous.
