thank you tankteknyc for showing us the wisdom of ken swift. i recently got to have a cool discussion on dancing and bboying at an IHOP haha over some overpriced but delicious breakfast food haha. actually i had the CHEESesteak, cuz thats me being me, the philly in me haha. but for real, I really really appreciate what kenny said about bboying is about being urself one, and also its grounded in the music primarily. i feel like a lot of 'bboys" criticise other bboys self expression

Truth! I recently went to a jam to dance and cypher, but it was a really small venue. I had to wait until the breaks between the battle, but during those breaks the DJ kept putting on drums & bass and other bullshit which immediately demotivated me from having a good time. Ended up going home with a headache.. Basically what started with me wanting to get into the cyphers ended up with me not feeling the music at all and just watch the jam, just like what Ken Swift is saying. Some DJ's..
