We had a 30-foot riverboat in Alaska. It had a jet unit like a proper riverboat. Get that thing up on step, and you could fly over 4 inches of water. Moose look really clumsy on flat surfaces but they glide through snow and water like marine mammals.

if you look closely in .25 speed, the moose's feet go at least 6 to 8 inches deep in the water when it is next to the boat. many jet boats can run in 6 inch deep rivers.. my father had one made by maxxim boats. the intake and jet drive are much like a jet ski. boats like that are popular in alaska, washington and oregon for tour guides. when the moose runs across past the boat around 1:28 the moose's feet go over 12 inches deep. look at the joints in its legs and you can get an idea of how deep it is. It is a cool video of the moose.

^^everything this person said. Aquachigger channel uses a flat bottom boat for shallow water. It's got the same propulsion method as a jet-ski basically but you sit in it and it has a steering wheel. It's the way the mouse is running. Notice it's hooves are hitting the water at a flat angle while galloping. It's like when you throw a rock at a certain angle it skips. Animals are really smart and using that rhythm allows them to quickly run through the water surface.

It is shallow water. There are several reasons a boat moves in shallow water ranging from inboard motors to they know the area, or the boat is the most out of water at plane. If you rub going slow, it is possible to go faster and not touch anything. Anyways, back to the video, watch the moose back leg in the video. It goes into the water about a foot.

For the CGI argument, here is a little footnote. It is VERY hard and VERY expensive to render realistic looking water using CGI - And that is for professional movie producers. For an amature to do this is nigh on impossibe. In fact, directors often insist on using real water wherever possible because rendering and ocean/waves/splashes to a truly realistic degree is just so hard. In short, this is legit. I am not sure how, but there is no way that water is fake.

Yes it is a jet pump motor that requires a few inches of water, designed for running rivers. Just seen this video on a paranormal show on cable..ffs. 🙄

you do realize there are boats with fans instead of propellers that would drive on grass if you drove them on it? Its just super shallow water.

Yeah the boat is a jet boat and running through very shallow water four to 6inches is all they need to do it. The moose is just running through the shallow water. Great video though lots of fun to watch

I believe you are correct that’s exactly what I thought. I’ve seen those jet boats go through water no deeper than ankle deep. So I believe that’s what’s happening here
