I came to the realisation that most people dont fear crocodiles as much as other animals. I am terrified of the idea that something is under water patiently waiting for you to step in. I dont understand people who feel so secure in the wild without any weapons, especially in water. If I knew that there are crocs where I live, I would doublecheck the bath tub before jumping in.

He didn’t even know the cougar was there and I’m sure it was just hiding from him as it was kinda lost and scared in Suburbia but that was also very much and hunting posture. And cougars are tenacious little killing machines, have y’all seen all the videos on KZbin of people doing the whole “get big and get loud” thing at a cougar that’s stalking them and then the cougar just takes one slow motion step forward after another like “You mean don’t come any closer, like THIS lunch!” Geez.

I was watching the clip with the dogs going crazy about something, human came out, dogs rushed home, human saw black bear, managed to scare it away. I laughed, "Dogs are useless -- get the cat!" and... the next clip was of the hiding mountain lion who looked somewhat young to take on a bear, but still would have chased away the bear better than yappy dogs... 😄

As a wildlife ranger, one thing i need to say, when you encountered any wild animals, don't make a sudden movement. usually people will panic (which is normal) and the animals are the same so their plans either run, or attack. Us as a human, just defend. do not try to attack or run away abruptly.
