i think ray-guns speech sums up exactly what theoharris is talking about, "we've made historic strides since rosa parks refused to go to the back of the bus." listening to ray-gun say "we" is a little ridiculous, he then says, *"we* can take pride in the knowledge that *we americans* recognized a grave injustice, and took action to correct it..." ray-gun was as bad as trump. this was 1983, 3 years earlier ray-gun made a speech just down the road from philadelphia mississippi with several lines calling for more "states rights", ray-gun would win mississippi and alabama *ronnie ray-gun originally was opposed to the holiday for king.* jesse helms and 89 other people in congress voted against the holiday, helms called king a "communist", and when ray-gun was asked about that he said "we'll know in 35 years", when fbi investigations were declassified. and if you read the multitudes of fbi surveillance notes on king you will be disgusted.

Why haven't you covered the fact that the King family sold the rights to do that Dodge Ram commercial? Ignoring it helps produce a unrealistic view of victimization, but judging by previous videos that seems to be DN's goal. (I don't agree with the commercial but we need ALL the facts, not those that just push victim roles)

Dan Bee they skimmed it. Their outrage should be focused at the king family just as much as the dodge people, however the victim market won't allow that. It's a sad state of affairs that is being overlooked.

I could use any song or "intelligent property" as a choose(older than 50yrs), in any way or form, and the family has NOTHING to do with my interpretation of that property, because they do not reserve the rights ANYMORE. Again you have missed the point of the conversation, which was dignity among history and heros who had the courage to speak out against materialism, selfishness, and a system which is aware of the notion, yet framed(cherry picked) a civil rights leader as a symbol for the opposite. That is a gesture which clashes in the face of civil rights and all that took to gain them.

MLK jr was a womanizer and drinker, supposedly. He was also a good man and Instrumental in the Civil rights movement. The facts aren't always pretty, but I wouldn't trade him or Mrs. Parks for anything.
