I think there is a mismanagement of expectations here. This video should be called 'dear diary' and then there should be a seperate keynote about the actual product/launch. Love the vision and I want this to succeed, but couldn't watch this video.

As a marketer...there is so many red flags here - no one should preorder this and wait to see what the product is actually like. But a launch event, where the CEO is only talking about himself, pretending to be vulnerable while mostly promoting this company on some crypto podcasts...is not promising.

I think there’s a huge potential market for this device. Will have to see what the actual experience of using it is like. reMarkable 2 is really exquisite, but it was really slow catching on. There is clearly a demand for more focused devices, such as this one. But all of that hinges on how actually “paper-like” it is.

When liberal arts and technology intersect, I really think you can make change. The route you guys as a company approach technology sounds like you are on your way to change. With Moore's Law exceeded, incredibly powerful hardware and manufacturing process I think it's up to us how we utilise those tools. It's really good to see a slower, more focussed approach to it beside the "do more than you ever imagined, faster, with agents and more convenient as ever before". Best of luck! Definitely going to keep an eye, oh well probably two, on Daylight and I am curious to see where the journey will take you. Hats off for the candid speech, good points made and nice closing argument :)
