Spooky quiet. No one walking a dog or riding a bicycle. Not even a bum sleeping in the park.

Yeah I was shocked there wasn’t any bums hanging around. Must’ve been too early in the morning for them to start bumming lol

Can I ask how you like Bangor as a city to live in? I’m looking to move and Bangor is on my list.

I just moved up here from Maryland and it’s quite an adjustment because places aren’t just a hop skip and jump away. But I do enjoy downtown Bangor and the casino and waterfront walking are close by. If it wasn’t for my aging parents I’d probably move back too Maryland or Virginia.

@@drivingwithdaddy4399 thanks. Honestly I just want a big quiet house to escape into. With a nice safe neighborhood .

@@JamesTravels617 If you live near the Bangor area you’ll be close to shopping in hospitals but far enough away from traffic in crime. Waterville is also a nice place to live from what I’ve heard.

LEVINE Dept Store is gone and now LOCKWOOD HOTEL. That is strange. Not surprising everything must change and be updated. Improved from 1900s. lol I was Born in Waterville 1954 in Apt 19 Levine's. Long time ago. Grandparents lived on KENNEBEC STREET. #15. across from Little League park where granddad Pierre Lacombe would make me sleep all night when I misbehaved. He was cruel and a drunk. He hated my dad who divorced mom and left her in Waterville with 2 boys. He went to Malibu beach, California chasing women on beaches and in bars. Married 5 times. Died in Vegas at age 61. 5 marriages and no one was at his Funeral. Veteran's Cemetery, Boulder, Nevada. KOREA WAR. Maybe this is why he was so screwed up? Granddad worked at HATHAWAY as a machine repairman. Machinist. Making shirts. Grandma played PIANO at OPERA HOUSE 1960s and Notre Dame church. I was Baptised at ST FRANCIS DE SALES Church. Now torn down and a parking lot? lol In 1968 Mark Carter of Green street taught me 'Work Ethic'. Painting. Moving furniture. Throwing BALES OF HAY on a truck on a farm. Picking FIDDLEHEADS. Potato sack full. Mark was taught about the AREAS OF MAINE FIDDLEHEADS GREW and we did well. Hard worker Mark still is today. Contractor and building his own home in Florida. Cannot believe he left Maine. He was a TRUE MAINER. Hunting. Fishing. Snowmobiles. Home on CHINA LAKE. Memories. Thanks for Video I can see it was good I left. Many of my friends in 1960s committed SUICIDE in Waterville. Sad. We got in a lot of trouble back then. By the time I was in US ARMY, EUROPE NATO COMMAND reporting to General Al Haig I knew enough to take care of myself and do what it took to get promoted. I rose to Rank of Sergeant, Drug Investigator Nato command HQs. Berlin. And offices in Nurnberg, Germany Munich. Milano, Italy. Gen Haig was the father I never had. Teaching a great deal. And it all began in WATERVILLE, MAINE 1954. Amazing! 1968 living in a shitty Apt on Sherwin Street behind CHEZ PARIS under a Laundry Mat ...lol I almost ended my life here!!! see: jameshhall1954 - Instagram and you'll see what MIGHT NOT HAVE HAPPENED TO ME IF i HAD ENDED IT TEHN. A story being FILMED at Warner bros Studio soon. To help kids see: "YOU CAN DO ANYTHING you put your mind to. Give it a chance". James Hall , Waterville
