So, today we are out and about walking in the village and civil parish of Lympstone, which is located in East Devon, England. The village has a population of around 1,750. Lympstone has it's own railway station. The parish church is the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Seen in the video is the harbour which is on the estuary of the River Exe. Also seen from a distance near the harbour is Peter's Tower, a red brick clock tower built around 1885 by W.H. Peters as a memorial to his late wife and also for the long standing tradition of residents drying their washing on the foreshore.
As this morning's walk was on a week day, there was only a short window of time before commuter and school traffic would start building up which in turn meant that this walk is not really at our usual slower pace and camera style, so please bear this in mind - thanks.
See if you can spot a super fast squirrel during the walk!
Thanks for walking with me.
