I went here once as a kid, but split my head open in the railway station car park afterwards and ended up in Exmouth hospital, so I don't remember anything else about my trip. Must go back sometime. And kudos to the nurse who gave us a lift. Same happened with Sidmouth where I split my leg and ended up in the cottage hospital. I swear to God Devon hates me. The feeling is not mutual.

The place where some of my Bass ancestors lived. Their name still identifies one of their properties on The Strand (Bass's), adjacent to The Green, where they built their boats. We really enjoyed the camera's lingering views of the area and being shown the quaint narrow alleys we have never seen.

Lived at 5 Edinborough Ct in Lympstone nr. Exmouth for 2 years. Back in 95-97. Looks like alot has changed, used to love walking down to Strand along the road with thatched roof cottages. Used to be a restaurant called the Swan I think back then and we loved a pub to go throw darts along the way down to seafront. Most adorable village.... loved living there. But yeah... seems to have changed a bit w the grand houses now.

Thank you. It's a fairly quiet village although the Exe Estuary cycle trail runs through the village which can make it busy sometimes. It was quieter than usual when i filmed. Especially as it was a Saturday afternoon 😊💕
