Wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed this video. What you can get out of a few hours in the park is just incredible. I'd be happy with even one comparable photo out of a whole day.

I can't for the life of me figure out how you manage to carry so many cameras, lenses, and vlog at the same time. Then to edit the video is so time consuming. It's amazing to me that you are willing to do this for us to watch because it can't be easy. And you are so good natured about it all. :) Thank you. I never get tired of your videos, great grey owls or whatever you post. It's all good.

Awesome video, awesome photography and chit chat. What I do when I drive is I strip off the audio of 50s sci fi movies that I pretty much have memorized, and listen to them when I drive, same for old radio shows too. Slows me down. Down here in eastern San Diego county we do not have the big crits you have, but I did manage to track down the Big Horn Sheep here! Cheers!

Yay, you got your blue bird! Love Grand Teton. I was out this morning photographing Hawks , Orioles and warblers by a stream when my son pretending to be my teacher announced we were going on a field trip to Grand Teton! Hopefully someday we can return and for more than just a few days. I was so excited to see another vlog pop up, thanks so much!

Nice vlog Steve. Your videos are just a breath of fresh air and really missed seeing any for a while. What a beautiful area and vast array of wildlife you have near you. I'm in Shropshire UK and a little limited on what we see here. Anyway keep them vlogs coming as its a great way for me to start the morning before heading out into the Shropshire hills walking up Caer Caradoc and The Lawley as can get beautiful views and hope to capture Red Kite in flight and hunting amongst the rabbit burrows...

Great timing on this video Steve as I’m anxiously anticipating my first visit to your backyard in 50 years! I’ve been revisiting many of your videos scouting for our trip which will include a couple days around the Tetons before a week in Yellowstone park. I wish it was a photography centered trip, however it’s my wife’s first time to the parks so I will have to mold my photo opportunities around her needs to see the “obligatory” sites. Wish me luck. Do you have a gallery or suggestion of places to visit as we stop in Jackson? Love your work and always look forward to your new videos.

I'd say the 'obligatory stuff' presents opportunities as well and it's always fun to see the parks with a first timer. Most people are not prepared for the sheer beauty and dramatic landscapes they'll encounter. Just try to manage around the crowds, early or late in the day is great.

Hi Steve, this was an awesome video. I really enjoyed it! What more could one ask for: antelope, elk, bison, grizzly bear, eagles, ospreys, hawks and blue bird all in a matter of a couple of hours! You’re really blessed to have that on your doorstep. Btw- the bluebird photos were outstanding! Keep the videos coming!

I really enjoy your videos Steve! I hope one day to scrape the $$ together to take a workshop with you. I do a lot of bird and wildlife photography but nothing like your beautiful work. I am curious how you did a video and photos of the Mountain Bluebird landing on the branch. Did you just wait for it to land 2 different times or somehow take the photos out of the video footage?

Love the Park in the Spring. My favorite image from this day were the lady elk. They looked so curious! Perhaps you were having post Africa syndrome prior to this day back home. Your Africa photos blew me away. I would love to do a half day with you this year. But my health may not allow me to travel to Wyoming this year. Maybe I could pay for a time slot now, and if I couldn’t make it, perhaps you know a young photographer in Jackson who would benefit from the time spent with you. Just dreaming away my days in bed with this sciatic pain…
