In which you will see me being happy turning the huge knob of the Bruel & Kjaer 2107 Frequency Analyzer, an incredible vacuum tube amplifier and band pass filter from the 1960s. This was used to analyze signals and vibrations in the most demanding circumstances, but I use it as a glorious overdrive and rich overtone generator. Seriously, this thing sounds a Lagavulin Single Malt by the Atlantic in autumn.
Soundpacks, music and a heartfelt Thank You: / hainbach

no really hard to come buy if you buy untested. Scored the 2107 for under 100euros from Berlin, the 1610 from france for 60 euros and the 1022 oscillator for 200 euros (tested and working order) after about 10 days of trying. They are defnantly still out there (even after your videos and Look Moms rabid bidding.

People like you are the definite proof that creative music is not dead. The journey to unusual shores of creative music production is undoubtly one of the most important aspects of finding new forms of music. Continue your great work and inspire others to step away from the main casual path to experience something new.. something special.. within the realm of experimental and ambient music

Once again Hainbach awakens me from my dogmatic slumber. Sweeping and repetition go hand in hand. And yet, we crave variance. It must change. It must give pleasure. It must be abstract.

Back in 1961, the Soviet Union and United States's missile early warning systems had a secret affair with each other, and this is their love child. EDIT: or is it the sounds of their unbridled passion.... I'm not sure which.

Many of these units including the Type 2112, 2107 and 2603 were all therefore designed to output up to 100V into less than 75 Ohms to a chart recorder! As I have recently found to my detriment, when I blew up an input channel on one of my little digital mixers with my 2107, unmodified units can produce transients of over 80 volts on switching filter modes etc.

The track is lovely - the track pants you’re rocking, not so much. It’s good you come to see us as you are. No need to dress up among friends. But unless you’re passing out hallucinogens to everyone, maybe the bright blue with the white stripes shouldn’t be committed to video. Along with the main track I loved the vocal-sounding thing you got with the HP and the band-pass filter early on. You moved on from that one too quickly, but there was so much good sound. Thanks, as always.

Think about it. Peace & weiter so! :)

Maybe you are a community of one in the know???

I am now part of a few that have been hunting for a long time - check the Waveform Research Center for example. This one was pointed out to me on eBay by my test equipment friend Dennis Verschoor. We shoot each other cool gear all the time and spiral into mad shopping sprees, where half the gear is not working or broken. Its has its highs and lows, but the highs can be extremely rewarding. I know nothing that has that sonic range and character.
