Stayed at Dunster Beach holiday chalets loads of times ........as a kid, then with my own kids. Lovely memories. Love it all around there. Now, we tour in a Motorhome ....stay once a year at Minehead Camping & Motorhome Club site next to the Fire Station on the A39 .......Great for getting around. We often do the walk over North Hill Minehead, to Porlock, across Exmoor. Beautiful. Great video.

Imagine the memories we would have photographed or recorded had we possessed todays tech? Then, would we have the same memories? Personally, I have so many memories froms my youth. So, so many. Memories of cycling everywhere.. Memories of camping down disused forest trails here in Australia. Memories of the all the crazy stuff that cousins and I and also friends and I got up to back in the very late 70's and into the 80's and even into the 90's as an older teen. We were able to do so much and we also got away with so much. The world was such a different place back then. Today, I'm less than a month away from turning 50. I have been reflecting over my past and my childhood and teens and thinking of all the memories and the few good friends I had.. I often wonder where many of them are today and whether they even think of me. While I wished I'd have held a piece of pocket sized modern tech in my hands to have recorded asany of those memories as possible.. Theyre memories I will always hold..... Austin, your journey down memory lane, it had me thinking of my.own journey. Thanks for taking me along on yours.

I've been to Minehead Butlins once as a kid around 1985/6 travelling down from Manchester by train with my Gran & two brothers. I don't remember much about it other than it being quite a long journey & not much to do. The Pwllheli Butlins in North Wales was closer to home & had more attractions. Looking on G maps its mostly been turned into a campsite now.

I missed this video! But glad I managed to watch it in the end, I realy enjoyed it! 🙂 I loved the chilled vibe of reminiscing in this. Me and my better half are thinking of booking a holiday for next year and we might look at going that way. We stayed near Combe Martin a few years ago and visited Lynton and Lynmouth quite a few times and loved it! (Not to mention the times I went there as a kid), so it would be good to stay around that area again.

Lovely film mate. Surely popping in exhaust is unburnt fuel getting into the exhaust ? Valves out of adjustment ? I had similar years ago on an old suzuki and it was the HT lead deteriorating so spark not as strong as should be. Enjoying the motorcycle video. Have a great Christmas mate 👍

Popping back through the carburetor, maybe your intake valve is staying slightly open. Your ignition timing could be firing a bit early? Maybe try burning a higher octane fuel?

Countisbury Hill is a bit of a blighter on a 125 I did it on my little van van before I killed it 😂

Ah wicked. Love the van vans would like to get one one day. 😊

@@ScudoCamper the van van 125 are more suited to lanes and off road, 4500 miles of A roads and motorway killed my engine despite regular oil and filter changes. Top cruising speed 55, go faster and you'll reduce its longivity. I'd recommend a lexmoto, better longivity easier to get parts and easy to maintain. I've successfully done 1000s of miles on both a scooter and a geared lexmoto and sold them both with lots of life left. I'd still have one I fancy a vendetta 250

Nie as we say here in NZ Tiki tour bro. Have you tried better ear plugs so you can not hear the popping on the bike. Safe travels up your way with the cold weather.
