I’m taking down all the mirrors and art. The painter comes in 2 weeks to do the whole apartment including ceilings and it’s a perfect time to let go some things and rethink where others will live in future.

Please know my heart is still with you 💗 We lost our son at 10 weeks.. We view life as God does-as something most precious. And as amazed at the miracle of it as we are, we are equally surprised when it doesn’t work out. In Psalm 139, we can find beautiful encouragement. Verse 13 reminds us our children were wove together by our loving Father in the womb. Verse 16 makes clear that all our babies’ parts are written in His book. And when it hurts to think about the little lives we must wait to be a part of, verse 11 comforts us. It says, “If I say: “Surely darkness will conceal me!” Then the night around me would become light.” This means that there is no circumstance we can face that would put us beyond the reach of Jehovah God’s spirit to help us. He can turn these tragedies into hope and joy when we think about the day we can finally hold our children in our arms and love them even more (Acts 24:15) 💞

Just wanted to let you know that the purple cloth you use is the window cloth from norwex. It’s only supposed to be used with water and if used with cleaners it can coat the fibers and make it less effective. Just FYI

I used to avoid cleaning the shower for the same reason, I hated it and my back hurted so much but when I learned these 3 things it became so much easier. 1) Let the cleaning product rest, I spray the whole shower meanwhile I clean the rest of the bathroom and by the time I reach the shower its easier to clean. 2) Use a brush with a handle, like the ones people use for the kitchen sink. You can reach the difficult spots and it makes it easier on your back. 3) Use a squeegee to avoid watermarks on walls and windows, again so much easier than using a cloth. I hope this helps you too.

I always see all these spots everywhere that are not on your cleaned surfaces so they must be on my screen. About your shelves next to the tv I think you might be right to take them down. It is getting a but busy with all your nice photo’s there as well.

Personally, I think you could get away with only keeping 2 shelves in that space by the TV. It might help with raising the eye a little more since that very bottom shelf tends to give more for people to look at, and then the extra one can be placed somewhere else in the home. Girl, that vaccum is awesome! I have a funny story about it. In one of the early date with my boyfriend, we were at this house and "as part of the date" he wanted to show me how good that vacuum was, he had just got it. So I was there watching him vacuuming his carpet LOL.

The shelves blend well with the colours in the space and give the option for a change of decor if wanted. Having said that, if you want to move the shelves; a tall plant, maybe a fake one, would be pretty with the greenery. The plant would be easy on the eye with the white wal l❤

Method has a Daily Shower Spray that you spray on the floor of your shower each time you take one, and it's a game-changer!!! It keeps it from getting bad as quickly, I love mine!!

You are not alone on the shiny taps thing lol. I do this thing were Ill close down our kitchen every night before bed and I absolutely have to have the kitchen sink faucet wiped and polished so its shiny and sparkling as my last step and its just the best feeling when I walk into the kitchen the next morning to make my coffee and start my day!

When the shower is bad, I have found that running a hot shower for a few minutes before cleaning helps. The steam makes the build up and grime come off so much more easily. Steam then let the cleaner sit a few minutes then magic eraser to scrub. Faster and cleaner. (We're a family of 7 with one bathroom. So the shower gets NASTY!)

Using an old toothbrush or brush makes it so much easier cleaning the shower floors and sinks to get all the gunk out! Love your videos Ashlynne!!

Also, I remember seeing a cleaning hack here on KZbin a few years back where you can get yourself a sponge wand, put some soap into the dispenser opening, and then just use that to clean the bottom of your shower. I have yet to test out that kind of product myself, but it seems very useful and could help to relieve the extra pain of going through the process 😄

I would leave the shelves if for more other reason than it allows you a good space to place your plants. Curious as to why you think they should be moved? The shelves are not really the kind of flat space that would collect clutter as long as you keep up with what you display.

Can Americans explain to me (a European) why do you put your clean dishes into the second sink when the kitchen sink has more fecal matter than the toilet? No hate whatsoever, I'm just genuinely curious.

I put them there to dry because I hand wash. I am not sure how you get fecal matter in a kitchen sink but I scrub my sink daily.

Yes remove the floating shelves. Those and the extra artwork have made the wall look cluttery
