If you are a mama waiting on her mama I would definitely recommend doing some food prep for you and your family ( if you are the main cook)
I was not prepared enough with my last baby and found it hard to keep up with cooking in between long breastfeeding sessions and just being exhausted. I'm VERY aware that this time I will have a toddler running around too so this was ESSENTIAL for us!
Nutty Curry:
potatoes
onion
carrots
mushrooms
coconut milk
penut butter
chilli
garlic
stock
Grandmas soup:
carrots
onion
red lentils
black pepper
stock
Healthy Mac n cheese:
sweet potatoes
onion
nutritional yeast
tahini
paprika
salt
garlic
pasta
Cooking different meals with similar ingredients helps keep the cooking time down, especially for tired pregnant mamas on their feet!
