Man, Citizen has some of the coolest packaging. I love the oxygen tank from my Promaster Diver BN0151. The watch is great too for how much I paid. Seiko: please take note.

I love the look and complexity of it. Even though I don’t like digital displays on an analog watch, I see the functionality of it as a pilot, or just a traveler. That helmet looks sweet!

Yes, they're a pain to set, but once set, you never really have to do anything to it as long as it stays charged. It adjusts for daylight savings, leap years, etc. And changing time zones isn't hard.

Citizen really makes this one pop with the dial. I've got one with a similar movement but more subdued color version with the titanium PMV65-2271 (Citizen really needs to work on those product codes...). Keep the manual, but after setting the watch you probably won't need it anymore for a long time, the basic functions are easy to access and work well.

I have one that my wife bought for me 11 years ago and only had to set twice, Had to send it back after 4 years Citizen replaced the solar panel, and crystal and the hands for $100 and wear it ever day.

I'm selling mine if you're interested. It's actually never been worn and is collecting dust in my collection. The basic functions are it's solar powered, has atomic time keeping(gets a radio signal every night so you never have to set the time)has two alarms ,countdown timer, chronograph and world time. Why in the world would citizen put a mineral crystal on that "limited edition"? All the other new gen skyhawks have Sapphire crystal. That's a non-startet for me.

Nice watch, I have the silver one with the exact same dial and colors, and hands. But it has a tough plastic case instead of this helmet. The price was 480 euro.. I agree with you, this watch is the heaviest in my collection. The setup is not that bad for me. I have a titanium casio protrek with a similar digital crown and four buttons. Ok the LCD display is more visible on the casio, but I think the setup is comparable between the two.. I don't know why is considered a pain to set up this citizen. Maybe first time when you doing this video, but I have this watch from Christmas and I have no problem with it. The instructional video is useful and better than the manual. The only thing I consider hard to use is the slide rule bezel, because it has very small numbers and indexes. You need a magnifying glass to obtain better results.

BJ7006-56L is not skyhawk, It is Nigthhawk model. Both are planes names of airforce of USA. But Nigthhawk Citizen watch is amazing too.
