Opening the valves and it simply adds a second exhaust tip opening. This will not change the exhaust note or loudness what so ever. Listen to the sound of the exhaust clip when they change the setting from normal to track mode. The loudness and note stay exactly the same. Ultimately Flowmaster is just deleting the exhaust mode settings YOU PAID FOR! One other thing keep in mind this exhaust WILL introduce a massive amount of drone in the cabin area.

It may be hard to tell on camera but it 100% changes the note/loudness of the car. Next time instead of the "normal" exhaust mode, I'll put it in it's "quiet" mode so you can really hear a difference on the video side of things.

No, these do have a quiet mode that shuts the main valve just as on the factory cars and drastically cuts the volume. But I don't understand why they didn't show it. The older videos with Bill had more detail on the sound & driving experience with the exhaust. And for the outlaw active kit, it is impossible to find a good video demonstrating the modes, whether it be s550 or s650. What I would like to see is a video with the flowmaster x pipe in place with the active, and then see how much the quiet mode cuts it down.

We do have an H-pipe on ours so its a bit louder then what it normally would be.
