This jig is awesome. Thank you very much for providing all your knowledge of woodworking. I’m new to all this but making Patriotic projects is my favorite. God bless and Merry Christmas

Thanks for this video. It is greatly appreciated. Also, the tips are very useful to us building this jig. I always like how the person gives his take on what he'd do differently. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Nothing but continued success in 2023.

This is a great jig! I've been meaning to make one. I have 2 boards at a 90 degree on one end of my bench and this has worked for me but I really like yours. The built-in clamps are great! Simple but efficient. I will be making one . Thanks!

If you plane your calls so that there is a slight bow in the centre, it should straighten out when you clamp, and give you consistent pressure.

To save on remaking clamp bar. Try adding hardwood strips to the sides of the length of the bars. Should keep the bowing to a minimum.

This is similar to jigs used for end grain cutting boards or chess set. Use melamine for the base to avoid glue issues.

Great tip! I always forget about melamine.

How much would you charge to build and ship one of these to me?
