A Myles Kennedy Note So High, It Brings Out the Proud Dad in All of Us

Here's my first Alter Bridge video-video, "Words Darker Than Their Wings - Live @ Royal Albert Hall. I filmed this about a month ago, so at that time, all I'd heard was Blackbird and Metalingus. As I explain in the intro, I don't like to do videos for songs I don't know but I made an exception for this one. And I wasn't disappointed. Thanks for your patience!
And I embarrassed myself with my school girl crush on McHottie Myles. :)

I just seen Myles in Lincoln Neb a couple weeks back. And he was absolutely incredible!! This song is about a conversation between Myles and Mark Tremonti (the lead guitarist and vocalist) about faith. Myles was having doubts in believing after his dad passed away and basically Mark said don’t lose hope, maybe there is something out there! That’s why they sang back and forth to each other like they were having the conversation again! These guys are absolutely brilliant!

Ok, I have seen tons of reactions to this amazing performance & I must say this is absolutely my favorite now! First of all...yes my friend, I hear you! Myles is extremely hot!🤩🔥 No doubt about it! And the humble person that he is makes him even more attractive. Myles was definitely thinking about hitting that note, as mentioned at the beginning this was their first time playing the song live since it’s release on AB III, 7 years earlier, because Myles did not want to try it live. Now that he got over the hump tho, they do perform it live more often. That was why Mark gave him the proud dad nod. “See, you did it. We never doubted you, you only doubted yourself.” Myles ever so humble. “Thank you very much.”

The orchestra adds another dimension to the song and amplifies how awesome it truly is. I'm not sure if what I'm about to say is 💯 accurate, but with them both singing is from a conversation standpoint of Myles' doubt on faith

Myles is so handsome, one of the best vocalists out there, a phenomenal guitar player, and from the interviews I've watched, and comments I've seen from people who actually know him, a very humble, nice guy. You should check out some videos from some of his solo concerts.

Just found out today tht at the end of august myles kennedy will be performing in the town i live in with Seether, Nonpoint and four or 5 others! Cant wait. Waters Rising is another song where myles and mark split vocals and its a great song

I absolutely love this performance, I get chills everytime I hear that note. If you want some more amazing vocals from Myles check out "Summergirl" by The Mayfield Four, his first major band. And by the way, the guitarist, Mark Tremonti, has his solo band and he just dropped a single "If Not For You" so it'd be great if you could react to it :)

So one thing that has come up in interviews with Myles about that note and why they don't do this song is he says it takes a couple of days to recover from singing it.... Love your reactions.... Alter Bridge is my favourite band Also check out Tremonti which is Mark Tremonti solo band.... They play slightly heavier stuff with Mark on vocals..... Awesome stuff....
