As if they didn't mention Insane Clown Posse. Not much scarier than clowns... well, except clowns that rap.

There's a Finnish Folk Metal band called Battlelore that dress up in Middle-Earth outfits. Does that count? All their songs are about some aspect of Tolkien's world. They use both clean (female) and cookie monster vocals. (male) Love your show Lady L. 🤘😎🤘 I believe that black metal band was Mayhem.

Definitely GWAR. I've seen them Live a number of times. They're hilarious. 😄 If you want to take a chance... Try some Meshuggah. Swedish Technical Death Metal. Down tuned seven string guitars, absolutely insane polyrhythmic drum patterns. And demon vocals. 😂

If you like fun bass playing, check out the Magic Numbers - great examples are songs like Mornings Eleven, Love me like you, Michele Stodart is astonishingly humorous in her playing, but very clever too. The band is not really my style, but they have some good music and I'd rate her a my favourite bass player, nobody brings as much joy to it

There's a lot of great music on "Strangeways..." but it lacks conviction. As far as I recall you've never done "Nowhere fast". Classic Smiths wisdom from "Meat is murder.

"Modern 80s" - Until you listen to Kiss the Go-Goat or Mary on a Cross, then it's 60's era. We even get some 90's, late "hair-band", and stuff threatening to be numetal in the later releases. TF is bouncing through heavy metal's history, sampling as he goes. At one point each Papa was supposed to embody a certain era and then be killed off to make way for the next style.

Man I still miss Peter in Opeth, Fredrick is awesome and writes some killler solos and leads, but Peters solos are more fit for Opeths's overall sound for sure.

So glad you are back behind the wheel of the GhostMobile! 👻🚗 I don't think you've done a reaction to "Rats" yet, which is surprising, because it's a Ghost classic.🐀 I would also recommend "Absolution" because there are some memorable bass lines in it. Great video and reaction as usual Lauren! 😸👍

Yes he was a momma's boy! 😊 A funny story about his Playgirl photo shoot...he has older sisters and they couldn't wait to tell their mother about the magazine to get him in trouble. So they told her and even showed her the magazine and she said "Well...that's why I named him Peter!" 😄

So, my brain is bopping along with the song, and I'm thinking, hmm, I see how the 80's are sneaking their way in for the 20 yr cycle. Then, you go ahead and say how it has an 80's feel. So you nailed that. As far as those detractors you mentioned, I say: The second word in the name of this channel is "Cats". So you can expect "pawses". I'll see myself out.

Hey! I coincidentally suggested Ghost to you a day before your first ghost video 1 or 2 Halloweens ago. But you still haven't watched the songs i suggested - stand by him, and guleh/zombie queen, which i think are apt for Halloween. Hopefully, they're coming this month...?

Someone commented that you check their performance at Red Rocks (2017) of this song. And I totally agree with him. That was actually my way into Watershed and I like it even more than the original. They let that song to breathe more, Michael's vocals sound even better and you understand more of what he's singing, Frederick's solo is better, Axe's drumming is more groovy but also more aggressive and Mendes's bass lines are also top notch, not to mention the space they built for Michael's final solo. Overall just epic in every aspect.

I absolutely do not listen to the intro when I listen to this song. "Strangeways, Here We Come" is their last album and seems more "produced" than other albums....I still really like it though.
