Woodworm is a nightmare, we have had to treat so much, just a little tip, when opening the treatment pull the black lid up then unscrew it, it then creates a funnel for pouring it 😊 good luck with it all 🥰

I can't believe it. I thought I must have been doing something wrong. Feel so dumb now!

Lots of big projects - and headaches, but once done, it'll be fantastic! Thanks for sharing the adventure!

certainly a few headaches! It is good when we see bits of progress though and the support from the social media community really helps us stay motivated!

The inner part of the opening on the tin pulls out to create a spout. Once finished pouring you just push it back in

I don't know if someone else is mentioned this in the comments but I've seen other people treat for woodworm and then they do something to spray on the wood that hardens the wood. Maybe you could use that and not have to remove the blood. Good luck!

I have got some wood hardener, and not tried it yet. Will give it a go! I think the wood in the attic is probably too degraded though so at some point it will need replacing

Is there a way you can brace the existing wall plate without actually replacing it?

Funnily enough that's what we've ended up doing

What is the title and who is the original composer of the music played while you were painting please? I know it is a classical piece, normally played to piano, but I cannot place it. Thank you.

Sorry we can't share this but I think Chateau DIY is running in a lot of countries at the moment but with a bit of a delay for the release of seasons.

It appears you are using a phone to make these videos. It would be helpful if you used the backside camera so that you are not blocking the view of what you are trying to show and you don't have to keep swiveling your head around. It gives me a soar neck just watching you do that. Lol You just popped up on my net here so I don't know yet who you are. That does look like a nice château. Yes you are right. You don't want a leaky roof! Good luck dealing with the French. They are from another planet!
