That rear view and 360 onboard of Kyvat really show how quickly he was turned into a passenger in his own car, scary place to have a tire failure and I think PIrelli should be quick to put out a statement considering that was not a regular puncture but a complete and sudden delamination, seemingly from high loads... I am genuinely curious how they will address this for next weekend.

@VERY EVIL PERSON FROM ILLUMINATI Its more towards the loads this faster cars are taking, Lewis,bottas, and Carlos were pushing alot during the first few laps with the hards which causes the punchure, this is what pirelli has feared when the 2021 regs were delayed, the gain in performace from 2021 would be too much for 2020/2019 tires and it has already showed that if drivers push just a little bit then punchures would be everywhere

Had serious dnfs some all down to himself like france when he nearly ran into the back of someone and took out his wing and tire. Overall Albon has been much cleaner all be it just as far off the pace as gasly, but hes got fight in him while peirre when he was in the RB seemed like he knew the end was coming and it was constantly in the back of his head. At toro turned alpha though hes really shown the true Gasly again.

This year's car is surely different, you can see Albon struggling to hit the apex and has to make a lot of steering adjustments mid corner. The car is too understeery foe his style so he has to adjust to new breaking distances and steering I suppose. Gasly is a good driver but I think he was weak emotionally.

Can we call K-Mag as the best starter in F1? From the rear cam, it looked like the tire delaminated, which was the same thing that happened to Valterri and Lewis at the end (you can see the tread just torn away from the tire walls). I wonder if the Pirelli's have a manufacturing problem...

For those who are saying Hamilton was lucky, look at how he managed to drive on three wheels. His pace after the puncture was slower than Bottas and Sains and his driving was much more managed. That's exactly why he didn't destroy the tyre. He kept calm and delivered another great performance. Totally deserved.

Hamilton dealt with the problem thanks to his great management both in pace and turn directions. Sains and Bottas immediately destroyed it. Hamilton was able to bring it to the finish line despite Verstappen closing the gap rapidly. 100% deserved victory.

Code wording. Mclaren has scenarios as does Renault, while Red Bull has engine mode x position x and Mercedes Strat modes. Different teams have different code names for their power settings.

Scenario 7 is almost universally thought of as the engine mode where you get the maximum amount of power from the engine, sacrificing some other things like fuel consumption.

Gasly is doing really good this year. And then I remember that he also was doing good before red bull, same as Albon. I think probably it would happen the same if he get to red bull again. Having one of the best drivers as a team mate, and you still adapting to the car, and a lot of preassure of the team and everey one else.
