I used to always hate when they spread food venders through out the street fairs. If is is something like candy or things that are not cooked on site, that is totally fine. But barbecue or anything smelly is never fun, no matter how yummy it may be, will linger in your set up forever. Another thing about paid entrance is that people who pay to come are often coming to buy. I used to do a lot of big indoor festivals that were inside convention centers and such. The parking situation is sometimes challenging. These places often had trams or whatever to bring people into the event from far away parking places. By the time people got into the event they had paid as much as 20 bucks each just to get in there. So they were not leaving empty handed. Many even came with lists. And that was all 20 years ago.

I agree. I can't stand it when they spread the food out. I've never thought about it that way coming to buy. I definitely can see it in a convention center. I think it's sometimes different with a street festival. Sometimes they are looking for the freebies.

I completely understand not doing “themed events” lol. I’m so ADHD and I have such a hard time sticking with making one type of plushy. Typically I’m all over the place with my inventory. I setup at a Bee Festival last month that I literally sold every single Bee that i had made (along with almost everything else in my inventory) so it makes it hard to not want to do that again. Any tips for being able to prep for events that you do so well at but hate making themed stuff without the burnout?
