The 2nd one work for me😭 thank you so much! For the past week my laptop just could not connect to my home wifi. Not even connect there's not even an option to choose. I honestly did not think any of these things would work, as the other “fixes” I had tried didn’t. So, I thought, “Here we go again!” But, even though I have a repair/tech contract, nobody is really open...you know! So, I started with the first “fix”, but no go! On to the next option! NOPE! And on the one where you start with the “command prompt”, I got a little nervous since I can “F” up a computer with the best of ‘em, but I thought, “Well, I don’t have to understand it, as long as y’all do,” and VOILA! I’m back online with all my normal WiFi channel options! I’d STILL like to know what happened to cause it, but...that’s okay, I guess! Thank you! For anyone still struggling to fix this issue do these steps: start > search bar > device manager > find network adapter > Uninstall the one with the error > shut down PC > disconnect power cable > wait for 30 minutes or more > turn PC on = fixed. Found these steps on a Microsoft support that worked for me so I decided to share here.

@@sarahsetiadi i figured out what to do. click this link www.tp-link.com/au/support/download/tl-wn881nd/?#Driver and then download TL-WN881ND(US)_V2_170724_Wins make sure you uninstall ur TL through device manager, and then install this ^ hopefully that works for you. It might not if you have a different TL (i am not a tech person so sorry if this was no help) let me know how u go

This video is very helpful but.. the peole whoose all methods didn't worked can do this, solution is the selective startup that preventing sound and network card from working on some pcs, go to start menu and search msconfig, Click to normal startup in msconfig, Hope it worked. :) (I did it and it worked here 1 minutes ago!)

The third step worked for me. My problem was that I updated my pc and then it wasn’t connected to the internet so I checked and it said that my Ethernet was unplugged or needed to be connected. I kept checking everything . I even switched wires n placed them into different ports. Either switch wires n plug them into different ports and reset pc or do the third one n reset pc

Tenía el mismo problema. El icono de wifi se perdió y no me permitía buscar o conectar a ninguna señal wifi. Reinstalé todos los controladores y no funcionó. Finalmente conecte una antena USB que tenia (model Tenda W322UA). Me fui a devise manager y actualicé uno por uno los drivers. Desconecte el dispositivo usb y continuó conectado a internet. Así se me arregló. Espero que a alguien le ayude.
