I'm looking forward to raising another child in my second language, especially now that I have the experience of raising my first son bilingually to compare it with. It's true that I do try to avoid English as much as possible around them, but unfortunately it's unavoidable. I am very stringent when it comes to providing child-directed language only in French and that seems to be working out well for us.
