Best point to underscore how serious JayWill was as a player: 7 games into his career, he put up a triple double and W on Jason Kidd, who in 2002 was the best point guard in the league especially defensively.

When he was with the Nuggets after they lost the conference finals to the Lakers, we saw him at the movies in downtown Denver. He was sitting right in front of me, and in the middle of the movie, I got a cramp in my leg and kicked his seat. After the movie, I apologized, and he was quite pleasant. We took a picture with him, and I recall my friend making a comment about him kicking Kobe in that series.
