How exciting! I began budgeting using cash envelopes in 2018 and it changed my life! I became more disciplined, was able to buy a new (preowned) car, have been able to handle financial emergencies (e.g., my father's unexpected passing), attend special events a few times a year, take my mom on vacations, and my credit score went through the roof (+800). I do not worry about money like I had for most of my adult life. Many blessings to you on your journey 💕

I love zipper envelopes. It last longer than any fancy vellum envelopes. Plus, it holds more bills. Otherwise, enjoy your new binders.

I too started out with just envelopes. Then graduated to the zipper envelopes and had to use some of the closed paper envelopes inside the zipper ones as it didnt come with the correct stickers for all my categories. Then, an influencer sent me her old one, so now I have TWO!! lol She also sent me two money place holders (I made some more of my own out of plastic file folders I had in the kids free, school supplies, cut them to the right dimensions and just wrote the amounts on them with a sharpie. Now, I feel like Im REALLY stylin and ballin! lmao Congrats on your KEWL, matching, FIRST binder!

This month is my first budget EVER! My husband retired mid-November and then of course, there’s Christmas! So the timing wasn’t ideal, but I made it work. I actually was able to save $990.00! I paid it towards my last credit card. My binder is silver holographic and I love it! 😁
