A NEW Bloom Pouring Medium? Will it work? I'm testing and reviewing a new product!

I sincerely apologize to my viewers who need closed caption subtitles. I've worked on adding them for a couple hours but You Tube is not cooperating today. If I am able to, at a later date when the function is operating, I will come back and add this feature to make your viewing easier!
Today I am testing and reviewing Sherwin Williams new Spec Right semi gloss base c untinted housepaint. The goal is to examine it's properties, behavior and dried results for consideration as a Sheleeart bloom technique pouring medium for paint and pigments. I start by showing you the consistency and color then proceed to mix basic ingredients to see how the formula looks and acts. Blowing out an actual bloom is important to study the behavior of this paint base so you'll see what to expect. Then comes the dry results which tells us whether this will work or not.
I hope you find the information in this video helpful and money saving. I did the testing and spending so you don't have to until it's known whether this product will work or not. We in the Sheleeart community are finding our resources being very limited here in the US these days. With reformulations due to changing regulations in some regions of the country, we discover that our tried and true products are no longer available to us. That's leading to lots of wasted money, time and energy so there are a handful of us seeking out potentially viable alternatives, buying and experimenting. Sometimes the results are okay, sometimes not. I will let you see for yourself in the video whether Sherwin Williams HGTV Home Spec Right in semi-gloss base c is worth a shot. The paint is available at Lowe's.
In this video, along with the SW housepaint, I used Josonja Gloss varnish, Varethane triple thick polyurethane and plain distilled water as starting points.

I follow closely on all the channels to see other artists test results. I know what is currently working and how well. This video is solely to test and give feedback on this one housepaint, SW Spec Right. I am currently using my all acrylic formula as well as my original housepaint formula with Behr 8300 which I have a large amount of. When I need to find something else I will use what top artists are using successfully regardless of cost unless we discover something else in the meantime.

Great info in here. The BEHR always seems more vibrant when mixed, but you’re right about the dry results being what matters. I always get wonky cells with DyNasty so I’ve only used it a few times, but the colors are vibrant and it has a great shine. Awesome the JoSonja added kept the cell structure and made them more like bloom cells. So the 3300 + Triple Thick was the last one? Or you mixed the Spec one with the Triple Thick?

Thanks! Yes, I mixed triple thick with spec right and the results cracked like crazy. Spec Right is spec wrong for bloomers! When I'm out of 8300 I'll go back to 3300 until something better comes along that doesn't require a 2nd mortgage just to paint!
