Just picked up 3 bottles at $20 ea. Very nice budget bourbon, even if low on ABV.

I totally agree, flavor and low proof means a longer enjoyment experience without ending up on the floor. Jim Beam has historically given us this, dating back quite a few years but they are almost always limited.

I got this one up in Melrose at Spiritz, but I've also seen it at Total Wine in the west metro.

Very unexpecting from Jim Beam. Good review. I'm glad I picked it up. A lot of people are passing it up because of the proof. They aren't realizing if they proofed this to say 100 proof it would've been $35-40.

Nice review. This one interests me but not enough to grab it. If I needed a budget pour, then I would. 86 proof scares me!

It's definitely better than most 86 roofers, but at the end of the day it's still 86 proof.

50yrs ago when I started sipping on Whiskey/Bourbon most everything was 80-90 proof so low proof stuff doesn't scare me off even though I'm a high proof guy.

Don’t sleep on Beam “Limited Release” bottles, Distillers Cut & Repeal Batch were both great budget bottles.

I saw this the other day and passed on it. It was more about having 300+ bottles than anything and the wife is always complaining about bottles on her tables (I need more shelves). 🥃🤣😂😎

Not a big fan of the 7-year, and actually Beam products in general, so when I saw this release, I took a pass. Based on your review, if I see it again, I'll likely give it a try. Why not, it isn't a huge risk $$ wise. Cheers!

I Passed on that the other day. More expense than WT 101, more expensive than OGD Bonded, more expensive than EW 1783, more expensive than 7 y/o Jim Beam Black..., and lower proof then all of them...Yeah, I'm good. 🥃😎
