Enough new players in the housing market already. New players in the intensifier manufacturing market are what's needed.

It's not that easy to make intensifiers. As an analogy its why many computer/phone companies exist but only a handful of companies can make high end chips/GPUs/CPUs for them to use. Totally different startup costs and science to it.

@@coldharboursupply Oh I get it. I understand completely....just saying we need more manufacturers. According to reports from Shot, L3 is exiting the civilian market. If this is true, reductions in market supply will surely increase prices.

I am looking forward to the monocular housing! I, of many have been waiting for an external battery option. It's easier than taking the battery in/out everytime you store/use your nv. Secondly, if there is a split adapter for powering a c5 thermal that would be even better.

@St.Howard agree, would be super nice to have a monocular housing without the battery compartment. Hopefully it takes an MX11769 tube. Does it take Carson Glass?

It takes any PVS-14 pattern glass and it does use MX11769s

With the monoculars external power would you be able to run 2 of them, on a panobridge for example, to a single external battery? Are there external batteries with multiple cable ports on the market? Or a cable splitter to take each individual cable from each monocular and turn it into one cable?

I guess what I meant to ask is if they make either cable splitters to run more than one device to a single external battery or if you can simply plug more than one thing into a single external battery via multiple ports on the battery itself

Their monocular is almost a direct copy of the rvm-14 lol

It has similar features but its not. The RVM has a very different single knob UI with seperate illum button, the RVM can also be mounted to specific RVM mounts as well as standard quarter 20 mounts. The PVS-14R has external power while the RVM does not.
