I love your new space and I believe that you will be happy there. The kitchen is gorgeous and you don't see that in a studio. It really helps that it's own room. I love the plans you have so far. I love the new place, the kitchen is large & seems even bigger with that window. I like your idea of moving the chair and lamp over by the window, great for a reading nook. 📚 I look forward to more. Congrats on the apartment and new chapter.

I completely feel you. I am in the process of looking for a new apartment and I've lived in my UES studio since 2019, just thinking on moving makes me so emotional, this apartment has been so good to me and my first one alone in the city. So so many moments and memories.... but I have to do it, it's time to move on. It will take a lot of me emotionally when the time comes :( thank you for sharing those moments with us, definitely made me feel like I am not the only crazy one worried about the emotions of leaving a place. Also, love your new apartment and looking forward to the decoration videos and cheers to your new adventure!!! 🥂🎉

Nice apartment. I really like the balcony. I moved into my new 1bedroom in Illinois on the 1st and still not done unpacking 😬 I'm a maximumlist but I want to become more minimal because this has been the most stressful move. Good luck with the new place.

U picked the best apartment out of all the units shown on your channel. The window in the kitchen is pretty awesome where there is space for a dining/work table. For studio apartments, a murphy bed may solve all your decorative issues, allowing a living room space for entertaining and work-at-home during the day, and a large bedroom space at night. It would fit nicely where your sofa is right now, hence you may want to switch places for the sofa and bed. In any case, congratulations on the new apartment. Let us know more about the neighborhood as you settle down and get to know all the local amenities .... besides Trader Joe's. On another note, I have close family Indian friends with teenagerz who I considered my nieces. The girlz grow up here in the States but the parents are so strict with emerging the (Indian) culture in them that I hope and pray they would have opportunities to live a free life, as you seem to be enjoying. I know this takes a lot of courage and confidence. U should be proud to be such a strong and accomplished young woman to be able to live the good life you are living.

Congratulations on your beautiful new apartment! You are going to make wonderful memories there. I used to live on W. 87th b/t CPW and Columbus and the neighborhood is absolutely wonderful. I always loved going out "into the city" every day but returning to my apt on the UWS really felt like coming to a cozy home. Can't wait to follow your journey. xo

Your new place seems lovely. Bright, airey, huge kitchen. balcony. I don't live in NY so I am a bit clueless. Have you moved to a better part of the city? I am assuming if you have given up a separate bedroom for a studio, then it must be in a nicer area? You seem to have great style so I am sure you will make it all work.

Yeah, better part of the city but I mainly had to downsize due to rents in the city going up drastically.
