STORY

Also, hiding under the table with the flashlight glaring from underneath it 🤣 I'm pretty stoked to see more of this! I had no idea the dev came out with more!

That got me good too. Somehow I didn't see it immediately though. I must have night blindness or something lol. I was thinking the same thing about chains but not sure. Lots of his encounters felt scripted.

A lesser known thing is why vampires can't be seen in a mirror. Traditionally mirrors use silver to create a reflection. Even older mirrors were made of pure polished silver. Silver, when properly smelted is considered pure. Silver is also mentioned in scriptures a few times, thus why it's considered holy or pure. So, technically a silver mirror can't reflect impure things such as vampires which also means that it can't reflect a werewolf when it is in wolfman form but can reflect a person who is a werewolf when they are in human form. However, since silver hurts werewolves and the eyes are the window to the soul, when a person who is a werewolf is in human form, their eyes will reflect wolf eyes and their eyes will start hurting. In very old lore, people would have a silver mirror on each side of an entrance and people were required to stare into the mirror before entering. That way if a vampire, werewolf or other unholy entity could be detected by guards/guardians who stood opposite of each other that way they could look into the mirrors.

I have not played Altered Beast, but this wolfman's design reminds me of images I have seen of the werewolf from that game. All these cryptid games are very similar, but they each have some unique mechanics. If I remember correctly, a game involving Mothman has been made. Probably because of the movie with Richard Gere, that legend is one of the more interesting ones to me.

I can see why some people find the woods at night scary. I grew up in TN and KY so was always around the woods. Before my wife and I got married I would ride my bike or walk to her house that was a few miles away. I would come back at night and lot and it was extremely peaceful and relaxing. Only thing was you had to have situational awareness because there was a black panther in the area and of course coyotes.

I'm Canadian, and have had actual wolves walk through a campsite in Algonquin Park. "Nobody move. Nobody smile. Don't look away.". Oh yeah, I've run into a couple of black bears in my time too. But waaaaay outside of Toronto (4th largest city in North America).

I grew up with a pretty big stretch of woods and then a park behind my house. My parent's were also from the deep hills and we frequently visited family in remote areas. I don't know why but the forest and woods always scared me as a kid. Despite spending time in it.

I'm navajo and I'm from the Navajo nation. I live near the 4 corners. We have a whole list of criptids and folklore. However, many of them are real, if not all of them are. Skinwalkers originate from my culture. Big foot is a part of our culture as well. Ghosts or evil spirits, chíídíís. Witches. The list goes on. I've seen skinwalkers, otherwise known as yanní glołóóshís. (Yan knee glow she)

@SkillyMcFilly it would be terrifying to say the least if they ever did it accurately. Skinwalkers are evil shape shifters, many claim to be a form of witch craft. The most dangerous game is a human. However, a human turning into many different animals at night, or a whole mixture of different animals all at once. Super inhuman speed if you turn your eyes away from it. We have many encounters with them. We corned a coyote one night, it vanished behind a midsized bush that's maybe 3 foot in height. Only a tiny hole in the ground was there. We were a group of 8 people. We also have stories about little people. That's quite similar to elves. Big foots are a part of our traditions. I wish I could write everything down and give it to a game developer.

Quick question dude I want to start uploading my own videos from console since I don’t have PC…yet. but I don’t have a mic 🎤 can you tell me what you have and how you set it up please I’m new to all of this.

Thanks for watching. I record using my PC for 90% of my videos. I do a few console games here and there but still use the PC with a capture card to record the console output video. I use a Shure SM7B Mic (with a cloudlifter) with a GoXLR connected to my PC for my audio. I'm not sure exactly how you would record from a console without a secondary device to capture/store the footage like a PC. Sorry I don't have more information.

It's an inside joke for our community. IGP and I were playing a game together 1 time and instead of F for flashlight it was G on the keyboard. So I said, "Oh that makes total sense. G for gashlight."
