When you think about it, this trailer is actually really brutal. Leona gets axed through her shield. Draven gets absolutely wrecked and mauled into a bloody mess by Rengar. Ahri presumably tears Zyra's soul from her body and burns her to ash. Graves shotguns Katarina right in the face. Nautilus presumably crushes Jax. Graves explodes himself to take Nautilus with him. Darius gets gutted by Rengar and then gets burned alive by Ahri's foxfire. Edit. Yeah, they respawn. Then they get to die horribly again. :P

Katarina Hates Garen Leona's pretty tanky so she can just break through it. Ahri's really nimble and fox-like so she would jump over. And Kat is agile and has to think fast, so she'd slide under. They put this and a lot of other little details in it to make up for the fact that they're not talking, which is really neat to me.

To recap: - Ahri and Leona chased Katarina => Leona dead - Darius, Draven, Katarina and Zyra chased Ahri => Got ambushed by Ahri's team => Draven dead (surprisingly soon due to poor positioning), Kat dead and Zyra dead - Nautilus didn't chase and came in to rescue his team with a double kill on Jax and Graves but eventually got killed by falling rock because he's a support. - Darius somehow decided that it's time to chase Ahri again (knowing that all 4 of his teammates is dead and Leona is about to respawn) => Darius got ambushed by Rengar, Ahri and Leona. Although it's unclear how much HP Rengar had left that he got knocked out by only 2 punches from Darius or why Leona respawned with only 1/4 of her HP, they managed to stall Darius long enough for Ahri to finish him off with her just-off-cooldown ultimate. Lesson of the day: DONT EFFING CHASE!! In next episode: Watch as Ahri, Rengar and Leona decide to push the enemy base with Leona at 1/4 of her health, Rengar at probably 10% HP and Ahri with no mana and how their bold decision is gonna turn out.

Nowadays the cinematics are based on fictional writing instead of being based on the idea that those summoners exist, that's why you see Graves and Leona on the same team here. Not only is it of impeccable quality compared to its age, it is also the reason why I (figuratively) fell in love with Leona as a character. Greysterization Umm, there are plenty of fully CGI movies out there. These trailers are made by very small crews--even Blizzard's CGI crew is only around 5-10 people--so if you make a movie, you hire more people and get it done faster. That's how it works. In the end it would only take a little longer than making a live action movie. It'd be very expensive, though.
