@@jacobberg373 I believe that Arcane is intended to be them canonising a particular timeline, like taking bits of information and setting it in a coherent chain of events. As the world has expanded, they have had to minor retcons here and there as new lore was introduced. Certain characters will not meet as many come from different times or different dimensions but I don't there is any reason that she can't meet the people on her team here as Yasuo is in Ionia and Lux is in Demacia around the same time (maybe?), Blitzcrank is from Zaun but I don't know where the little guy is from.

Though the more I watch it, I pickup on some minor oversights like the lighting being wrong in the scene where Vi is eating in Zaun for the first time since stillwater and it keeps switching from close to far with her and Caitlyn talking. I love how in a 2 minute trailer, 4 different character archs were completed. Lux got to fight the giant, Yasuo beat (ninja dude??), Blitzcrank got a friend, and Jinx got to see all of the legends duke it out in the arena like she wanted from the beginning.

Jinx gives off the vibe of a thousand-year-old chaos entity/goddess that’s been bonded to one reluctant mortal, and Lux is that mortal. When Lux is walking on the ring-thing, she looks so cute.

It’s such a simple, but effective tweak to completely change the feel of a character: give the violence they carry out real consequences. In Wild Rift Jinx shoots off a rocket casually; it’s treated like a joke. The characters are fighting but it’s more like a game of tag; sure there are guns and swords being used but no one really gets hurt. Then Arcane came along and all of a sudden a character wielding a gun (and a missile launcher…) suddenly gets a WHOLE lot darker. Once those bullets can actually draw blood, once it’s no longer a given that the characters can just respawn when they die… oof… big, BIG ole change in tone. Sigh… I cannot sing Arcane’s praises highly enough. Really all of the work the League of Legends team has done. Well done, folks! Hat is off to you!
