After years of trying in other cad programs I managed to draw, print, mold, pour in resin, paint and catch a fish using this process. All without ever doing another fusion tutorial. Your channel is the best Ive seen for 3d fishing lures. Keep up the great work. 👍

I like your video you slowed down some. how did you get the circle to open up on a different plane I cant seam to get mine to it opens up on the same plane as the sketch. Looking to make some stincls for painting my crank baits

If you trace the initial shape onto the top and right planes, you can then have a circle on the front plane and a circle at the end of the to-be lure, and just loft those 2 circles using the shape sketches as guide rails.

So would you just draw another 2d endview on the right plane similar to the side view drawing they created? Then select those two drawings as rails to loft a circle larger than the OD of the desired body?

I am trying to find a way to duplicate a lure shape and then use that to make a stencil for airbrushing...

This is much more difficult than using the sculpting process. I would not consider this easier.

It’s also more difficult than using guide rails which IMO is the easiest way to create a body that has a defined silhouette like this lure.
