I need to stop rewatching your and AAT''s videos. I had passed on the new versions of the team to save money, but they are back in stock at PIA Club and now I'm much poorer. Also broke down and preordered a couple of PGV figures using your affiliate link at BBTS.

Lol nice one! I still find myself doing the same, and rewatching some of AATs vids if I'm on the fence about something. Yeah, I saw pia-club restocked on a few things, hopefully they'll be able to do that with all the other upcoming stock that's already sold out. Still gotta do a vid of the remaining three Bucks! I preordered the bearded male PGV figure. I've got one of the android figs already and realised I haven't done a vid of the other PGV figures I've got. You right. We have to choose carefully what to buy from AR. The price point is ridiculous. I got jack with 2 Abaddons.the That's all the cash yall get from me for the year. I want all the Jianghus. Rare to find figs from those Dynasty periods in 1:18. For 1:12 & 1:16, those figs everywhere.

Gonna try and cut down on AR next year, but I want everything that's been announced already lol I've got the other two Jianghu on pre-order, that monk fella looks great, and it like like Joytoy have improved the knees!

Abaddon Gheist with the CQC head and Jianghu collection. Best figs of the year. Jack's cigarette hand deserves an honorable mention all by itself.

Haha yeah, that additional cig hand for Jack is a nice touch. Yeah the Gheists and Jianghu are definitely some of the best of the year. Doing the top ten for 2022 is gonna be difficult

Cheers Gunnar. Yeah, I was surprised these two are a bit smaller than normal. Cable is about Space Marine height! Major Draconis is smaller than normal Fresh Monkey Fiction figs.

Nice one, cheers, mate. Although I must say, ARW is an even more expensive rabbit hole! Prices have shot up. Got the rest of the new bucks on the way and both versions of the collaboration figure Erik B and his bike. I like mixing and matching toys, my 1/18 universe includes them all! Anything else in the acid rain world that's caught your eye recently?

It doesn't look as impressive. There's an Annex release Bloodsbane and Esbat which doesn't have the weathering. And although they do look cool, it does feel like it's lacking a bit. The good thing is that they've toned down the weathering somewhat

I see what you mean, those two seem under cooked missing some oaknt work, not necessarily the weathering, bug a bit more detail on the black areas

Yeah, like a wash or shading would've gone a long way. I suppose that's what the weathering brings. Instead of shading etc. weathering hides the lack of inking or shading.

Great review. Still wondering whether to buy these or not. But yeah, they could cut shipping costs a bit. I read somwhere that shipping fees have dropped to close to prepandemic times, so I wonder why pia keeps them high

Cheers Kliment! Bringing down shipping prices at pia-club would be a good start to help with increasing prices. The next three Bucks seem to have more interesting play features, but i do like these two as well

Great review. I've had these two on pre-order forever on BBTS. They look great, but I'm annoyed at the increase in price and limited articulation. Been collecting these since 2016. I'm not as in love with them as much any more. I'm enjoying the Strength of Ved and the Barghest bikes and the Gheist figure, though. Everything is so expensive now. I think I'm going to have to cherry pick what I buy, and maybe fall back from the line for a while.

Acid Rain figures are on average $5 - $10 more than Joy Toy, but they seem to be a good bit superior in quality. It's nice not having hands, arms, and legs popping off constantly. Joy Toy has great designs but the constant qc issues have me willing to pay a bit more for Acid Rain. My newly rekindled love of action figures has become very costly but it's a fun hobby and helps keep me out of trouble.

Yeah, that's what I found. I've had minimal QC issues with Acid Rain. Before I met my wife I used to drink, party and do all sorts of naughty stuff. Now I spend the money on;family and toys. I'm a lot more happy and healthy!

Ahh lucky you! Which one are you still waiting on? They're are postal delays with Royal Mail here, but they were shipped a week or so back. That should be the remaining three bucks, both versions of Erik K and his bike as well

Yeah, I think due to delays! I literally just got mine a few hours ago. I had to pay a customs charge for the first time. Finally got all Bucks but also got both Erik K's in and the bike. I'll do a quick first look vid before the full reviews. Got so many vids to finish lol

Loving how they look but it does look lame that the should armor severely hinders shoulder articulation.

What's strange is on some of other recent releases, they actually make cuts on the shoulder pads to allow more range. But when they released the new Bucks which use the same shoulder pads, they didn't bother. To be fair though, it's not too much of an issue when I'm playing about with them

I just got my Jack today and I can't for the life of me get the laser sight off the bottom of the one pistol and its pissing me off. Did yours just slide off?

Try putting the gun in a bit of hot water for about 30 seconds. Sometimes the weathering or paint can make bits stick together!

Cheers bud! The second iteration of Bob had the same headsculpt but was done by Toys Alliance. It was the figure in the Walk in the park set. Actually, that might have been the third iteration. I think the Taste of coffee version might have been different too... can't remember, this one though, is a completely brand new design
