Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, KZbin and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!
I am also a musician! My newest release is my first single (original song) called "She's Mine" which is now available on all streaming services - I sing and play piano, guitar, ukulele and I write, produce, mix and master all my own songs and content myself!

Congrats for finishing college. I am terrified of thunderstorms. I grew up in a place where there were no thunderstorms then moved to a place where there are monsoons every summer. In the first summer, experiencing my first storm our house was struck by lightning. I also have sensory prossesing disorder so its also hard to deal with the large claps of thunder.

I just took a year off to go back school to change careers. It was far less demanding than the work I was doing and it was a topic I wanted to learn about. It was a tremendous break and I really enjoyed it. When I was your age, I would have viewed a year off as a major set back in my life. Looking back, a year isn't as long a period of time as I had viewed. Enjoy it!

I'm starting college soon and it's makes me really anxious to start over again. I'm losing friends because they got into different schools in different parts of Florida or even out of state. I'll miss them and I can't wait to see them evolve into even better and amazing people. Your videos have been a major comfort because I also struggle with tics (possible TS) like you and I'm worried that I won't be able to perform good due to misunderstanding with teachers. i’m turning 17 in august, and i have no idea what i wanna do. i’m doing S6 (yay scotland) this year and i have no idea if i actually wanna stay and do it. i kinda just want to leave and get a part-time job and see where life takes me. but at the same time i feel pressure of society, family and a friend who really wants me to stay at school and not “leave her”.. yeah. i really don’t like school though, it’s so anxiety inducing and just the idea of going to school is enough to trigger anxiety symptoms for me.. so i should probably either figure out how to sort that or leave school. i’m excited to see this new stage of your life zara, and i wish you the best of luck in starting a new chapter! ❤

Hii zara.. i’ve had a youtube account since more than I guess 15 years and I think this could be my 2nd comment so far.. I just found this amazing and inspiring channel recently and i couldn’t help but share that having a year or two off (which I just ended like couple of months ago was the best experience personally.. you get to know every bit of yourself and appreciate life in a unique way.. a graduated med school and dedicated so much time giving my 100% but sacrificed lots of sleep, family & friend’s time, exercise, and hobbies.. I guess sometimes one lives in a tunnel vision.. after my time off finished I’ve regained everything that means to be my best version of myself and also enjoy practicing medicine at the same time.. Congratulations on graduating from college. I would also like to take 1 year just to study myself, but unfortunately I went to study in a specialty that I do not plan to work in the future. I finished my studies a year ago and now I want to change my profession, which I do now, I want to be a 3D modeler. Advice from me do some holiday work for example in a restaurant or something you can do or you like to test out for 2 weeks or something to become a closer look on what it's like to work I think if you do that you can better enjoy your free time and you know the ("worth"?) don't know the word iam from Germany and had no holiday for 7 years

Storms unknown in Britain... ??? But for us Southern Europeans, everyone who thinks that summer is the absolute Heaven, has never lived a rain of lightnings and thunders, sometimes so sudden and severe that resemble the rage of God... Not to mention tropics-style flash flooding in September and October, that can even turn houses to submarines... High winds with sailing bans... and worse than anything, Medicanes, that often exceed the intensity of tropical storms, and turn coastal towns and cities to a mess of stones, rocks, and spoils of every kind, in a matter of hours... All these accompanied by threatening, huge, low-hanging black clouds, sea siphons, and sweltering humidity and heat...
