it's an AI song. all he did was give it a prompt. it's quite clear when you listen to it and the link of it literally leads to you the AI site to generate more songs. this song took maybe a minute to make. and honestly this makes me think the poems he usually posts are AI generated, too. disappointing.

@@mirjanbouma March 14 as 3/14 works under the US date conventions and is perfectly valid too, but in the UK it doesn't really work, so 22/7 (as a decent approximation to π) is another option. With a little work we can claim all the dates for math(s) on either side of the ocean.

From 20:15, there was a much easier path to the solve by noticing that 5 is in two places in box 4, which eliminates the 4 from r5c1. None of the fancier knight elimination antics Simon started getting later were necessary.

26:34. First read instructions carefully. Tried solving same digit cannot be knights move. Then reread and caught consecutive digits. Still dead end. Then read third time. It was nice to see how candidates removed other candidates, pretty smoothly. Wish I had read properly the first time. (Of course it won't be the last. Lol)

I finished in 39 minutes. This was a cool ruleset, although I messed up and thought it applied globally across the grid rather than within a 3x3 box. Luckily it broke quickly. I think my favorite part was ruling out a 2 out of r4c3, which would have put a 35 pair in r4c5&6, eliminating 4 from r6c4&5. Great Puzzle!

The extra solves are probably the result of your tester putting the coloured circles in the grid after filling all of the digits. Each change made by a tool in Sven's software, that has a valid solution on the grid after clicking, counts as a solve.

Aad is how I found the channel but it was actually the 2 given digits puzzle. The one with irritating modified whispers rule. Twice actually. When it was new, and then again in April this year.

At the point of the puzzle at around 13:18, I didn't spot the logic with the 4s and 5s in box 3 for a very long time, but I DID notice that r4c9 was a naked single 7. It sees 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9 by Sudoku, and it can't be 2 or 4 because of the 3 being a knight's move away in the box. It didn't help much, but at the time I felt it was absolutely _devious_ if intended. I finished the puzzle in 60:07, mainly because of the aforementioned box 3 logic.

around 22mins Simon starts to become a quivering wreck. Having applied logic to box 8 a little before, he missed similar logic earlier re box 4 which I spotted quite quickly - one wouldnt think the knights move rule would work so nicely in the manner it did , thanks ard, for not being too hard, but nicely signposted through the solve

There is a 9 in box 6 on a knight's move from an 8 in box 9 so either the solution or the puzzle itself is wrong.

@bo0o77 yeah there is also a 7 in box 1 a knights move from an 8 in box 2 and a 7 in box 5 a knights move from a 6 in box 6 an 8/9 AND 5/6 conflict in boxes 4 and 7, also the given 8 in box 7 conflicts with the given 9 in box 8 so I'm not sure how this constraint actually works...
