Welcome to the rabbit hole known as Orbit Culture! Def some Het influences in his vocals. When I met the band they were just the nicest guys. Very down to earth nice guys.

MY TAKE: Orbit Culture is the incarnation of NEXT LEVEL MUSICIANSHIP. I hail from 1969 and as a musician, guitar player I have seen decades of changes and thousands of new bands and genre after genre evolve into present day. Orbit Culture has a formula that is beautifully complex, percussive, theatrical, HUGE story telling as if every single track was created for a movie soundtrack. The vocals would make James Hetfield grin for sure! The power behind the vocals is different in that, they are inflective and not mush, they are skull crushing and tear through the universe and yet heart warming. Brilliant! The guitars are rad af, percussive, creative, staccato, melodic and meaningful. Not a note too much or too less. Perfect! Bass is HUGE and it’s such a pleasure to ‘feel’ the bass driving through the tunes and at time the bass is incredibly amplified which again, is a delight! The drums. The drums… there is a beautiful balance of driving beats that keep the listener movin’ and the added intricacies of speed and triplets are incredible. There is a huge level of creativity here! LOVE IT! The production is incredible. Absolutely brilliant and enormous. Nothing was left on the table and it clearly shows in each track. UNREAL! Overall, I feel Orbit Culture is my new favorite band of ALL genres. I encourage everyone to listen to Orbit Culture’s Next Level Melodic Death Metal as it is pure life for many a listener. #1

I enjoy watching every new fan of this band. These guys are unbelievable, they are doing something from another world. There is no second band like OC. And "From the Inside" is my favourite track from "Descent" album, but you should also check "While we Serve", man, you won't regret!

Dude, I grabbed ahold of these guys back in 2018. And they are the future of metal through the might vocals of Niklas and the band, musically is literally mind bendingly good. I mean…. O H M A H G A W D level good. They deliver time and time again, unbelievable quality and talent. His singing his growling his presence. And dude plays guitar at the same time? What?!? They are a new level in where the future belongs.

James Hetfield is Niklas' biggest influence. He has the James hunched over stance when playing live, and used to play an Explorer just because of James. He has been with Solar for a few years and has used their version of the Explorer.

It blows my mind that more people don't know about Orbit Culture! I've been listening to them since Sun Of All came up in my recommendations in 2016. I thought that song was face melting back then, but they've done nothing but refine ever since. They haven't even released any song that I didn't just jive with. It would be amazing to see these guys open for Metallica some day! It's so damn hard to narrow down what I'd recommend from them, but A Sailor's Tale really grew on me. It's like, a sea shanty sort of folk tale meets Orbit Culture's style!

Love OC and your reaction, they really touches emotionally with their epic masterpieces they drops!!! Listen to them for three years now and everything from the album Rasen are so good, they have these atmospheric tunes and also the chuggy ones like Vultures of North and Carvings. My favourites are Redfog, Saw, North Star of Nija, The Shadowing, Nensha, Open Eye, Behold, Mast of the World, ... The new album Descent is released 18th of August, don´t you miss that! They will tour North America supporting Avatar from 13th September, Nashville will be the closest for you I suppose on the 24th.🤘🖤

And yes, this (brutal with clean vocals that sound a little like Hetfield) is indeed how Orbit Culture has sounded their last couple of albums. If you want another Orbit Culture song that has that fucking cinematic epic orchestral sound, check out The Shadowing! And also yes!! See them live!! I saw them live earlier this year with Avatar and I went PURELY to head bang my ass off and have my neck feel like shit the following morning. Seeing how you head bang, you will LOOOOVE them live!

Damn dude, you missed Orbit Culture (and Veil of Maya) by a couple months. The good news is, these guys are on a steep rise in their career and I guarantee they'll be back. I stumbled onto them right after their breakout album "Nija" was released in 2020 so I'm still in that euphoric discovery phase. Finding your channel recently is making me feel like I just discovered them all over again and I'm here for it. Let's fucking go!!! The song Nensha was the first song I heard off of Nija and I've been down this rabbit-hole ever since. I HIGHLY recommend that track next and just go nuts with the album after that!

As you like Vultures from north and this one, a lot.. i would say Orbit Culture might have at least 15 more songs you would love, and maybe more.. I took the deep dive in their catalog about a year ago, since they ranked high on the metal bands i like to listen to.. There is a handful i could suggest, North star of Nija is a great one, or maybe A sailors tale, thats a great one to.. Nensha is nasty to, those 3 would be my suggestions next.
