A New FIDE World Cup Starts Tomorrow | Hyderabad to Batumi in 26 Hours | Travel Vlog

The World Cup under 8, 10, and 12 will be organized for the first time in Batumi, Georgia. The best 48 players will participate in each group: under 8 girls, under 8 open, under 10 girls, under 10 open, under 12 girls, under 12 open.
The competition will be organized in 2 stages. Stage 1 will be a 7-round Swiss System with 2 groups, each 24 players. Stage 2 - players who finish in the same position in each group will play against each other. Aditya Sur Roy from ChessBase India will be there to cover the event. In the video, he travels from Hyderabad to Batumi and shares a vlog about the trip.

@FIDE needs to work on marketing. I am a regular follower of chess tournament and i didnt know about World Cup, 1 day before. There should be World Cup promos on every chess channel at least 1.5 months before
