Looks like we need a priming grip that better locks in to the picatinny to prevent that scary thing happening in the future.

I've had experience with this grip before.....it's not a secure as other grips, so I'd relegate that grip to only flywheelers

I had the exact same thing happen. Some of the picatinny cracked like Walcom’s. Except I had the big spring in and it tore open my thumb knuckle. That was fun. I put a vertical grip on it and it’s been perfect

Thank you very much WalcomS7 for the awesome review of this ZWQ Blaster. While it is great that a Worker Talon Mag adaptor is available for the blaster, there is a reason why ZWQ went and created a Proprietary magazine. Not sure if anyone's noticed, the follower of the proprietary mag actually has a bolt-lock-on-empty-mag mechanism and this bolt lock system is available with the top spec S100 Monkee Mods is selling. Yeah, we are all equally surprised, we just found it out too, lol.

Fire rate is the amount of rounds it can shoot within a certain period of time. Semi automatic is a firing mode, not its fire rate. Semi automatic means it fires upon a single trigger pull and this blaster is pump action/bolt action which means it requires priming to fire. (depending on which you use to prime it with) I’d boost the damage if we’re talking on nerf terms, it maintains 180+ FPS which means it has a very high speed out of the muzzle which leads me to think that it wouldn’t just be a 7/10 in effectiveness, it outperforms the majority of actual on brand nerf blasters and its grouping doesn’t that have that high of a spread, what matters mostly is that it shoots far when it comes to accuracy because lets face it, chunks of plastic that fling foam won’t get anymore accurate.

Unrelated to the video, today I went to my local toy store, to buy some darts, always depriming blasters kids leave primed, to try to salvage another kid's experience. But, quite a few Nerf Elite 2.0 Shockwaves were literally trapped in their cardboard prisons halfway primed, no way out of it without cutting the stringy things... Why? How the heck does this gets to shelves?

I probably deprimed 25 Mega Twinshocks in stores. And their packaging didn't allow them to be primed. Some come from the factory like that, just Hasbro stuff.

Hopefully some of the major problems get fixed. Although giving how this particular blaster broke while priming, it’s probably best to avoid the heavy spring option unless you’re able to be extremely careful with it.

The only drawback of the swift in my opinion is the massive size and that gap at the bottom of the stock trigger. However, the durability makes up for it. That thing is built like a tank especially if you fitted a metal catch, trigger, and dart gate for it. So yeah i still prefer the swift over this even if this is also a really good looking blaster. the swift is also much easier to take apart.

Mine broke they day I got it. The set screw boss on the chamber broke right off. One of the worst purchases I've made in a while. I'm going to buy the replacement aluminum version when I get around to it but seriously, selling a defective blaster for $289 and then expecting the customer to go buy another part to fix it is ... well incredibly Chinese.

@@lookoutforchris Ow, sorry to hear that. My swift worked just fine. I bought a couple and both worked well with no issue whatsoever. Although one of them came with the original weak dart gate but i replace those immediately anyway.

It's really not that big. Unless you're running the 550mm barrel it's roughly the same size as a Caliburn, LS, etc.

If I had this blaster in my hands,I would have replaced the bottom handle with a replacement SCAR or an AR-15 lower attachment made of heavy ABS polymer. I think that would fix that problem of the lower breaking way too fast or in your hands during a HVZ battle

you just pull the barrel out of the blaster without loosening the screw below? better tighten it when you are playing. It is a cool blaster but I don't like that reback spring which is unnecessary. I have taken it out already and push grip back myself. And I like the special function that it's unable to reload when the mag is empty but it must use the included mag.

You could argue the swift is better. Easier to service. Similar performance and accuracy. No need for a mag adapter. No frustrating assembly. It's not without it's issues but I fail to see how the S100 is significantly better in any way.
