And it’s not as expensive as you would thing bc you can 3d print 100s of shells with one 15$ dollar spool of filament And if you want you can buy just the hardware for the gun and the blueprints for the gun and 3d print it for yourself And u need the dart, which shoot pretty hard with this gun

I thought the same thing for awhile until someone brought up a good point that I hadn't thought of. Shells will help keep the darts from deforming.

I was thinking the other day about how interesting a shell ejecting blasters only game mode would be. That way everyone would have to deal with the shells but also it would slow down gameplay to be a lot more like a real fire fight where shots would have to be more methodical. Obvious problem is these things would have to become mainstream enough to populate an entire war with them.

To my eyes, this thing looks like an Accuracy International Artic Warfare's back end (a.k.a the IRL AWP) melded with an HK G36 fore end. And its... a vibe that I never heard of, but now one I cannot have enough of.

It's a mix of the m98, the awp, and scifi greebles. My versions did look a bit different from this final version that we actually ended up releasing, but it's still got the same basic silhouette as what I'd started with

I can't prove anything, but I think that the shells prevent any kind of deformation of the darts while feeding, and I think it improves accuracy. The dart is perfectly chambered every time, so it removes one of the biggest variables you find in nerf

Hey man, really sweet video on a dope blaster (with dope ass colors I might add). Just wanted to tell you that I had knee surgery a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve been stuck holed up in my room for a couple of weeks unable to do a whole lot. I’m a relative newbie to the hobby (in my late 20’s… I know I started way too late in life to get into foam flinging lol) but this whole community makes me feel right at home! I discovered your channel while looking into some foam blaster reviews, and I’ve binged about 40-50 of your videos now. Bought at least 3 blasters because of your videos. It only looks like the R-10X platform weapons because of the magazine well, lol. And I say R-10X because the Longbow is just a modified R-101 or 201, though in Apex it’s probably a R-201. As for where the 101 and 201 one are, I suggest you take a look at Apex’s predecessor, Titanfall 2.

Would have loved to see the shells in combination with the darts basically get to the same length of a standard nerf dart, so it doesnt look like a sniper rifle with a 9mm magazine. Also a double stack magazine would be interesting with the shells, as they don't deform like darts alone.

I think this feels like a good bolt action modded rifle,yeah we have the mega one,but I feel that's more to the anti material rifle category,more for going after bigger targets that require bigger darts This is more for other players or other people oriented

I don't hate shellington blasters or anything but I think the whole shell ejection thing is a little overkill. Im also not really into the 3d printed blasters as the plastic is so thin it can melt on a hot day, it'll smash if you accidentally drop it, and it just wears over a short period of time.

Seem that way, but it's just about outweighing the costs for your playstyle. Between accuracy, the lack of (dart) jams, and in the case of the wingchester, the ability to feed in a tube mag, it's all I use. I also found out that in extra hot weather, we were having tons of jams from the caliburns and such, but I never did because of the shells. It's more to carry, more to clean, but it has benefits for sure
