Hey man, I picked up HOI4 a year ago but because of work I really didn't have time to learn the game and found it a bit too daunting. I've gotten really into your videos recently and they inspired me to pick the game up again. I've now got 30 hours in but still can't get through Belgium without the allies funnelling troops straight in and stopping me. I imagine I need to look at division designs instead of just giving rommel lots of tanks and motorised units but would love to see a guide or playthrough from you at some point. Love the vlogs too, even if you don't like making them - glad you enjoyed London too!

Either use more air, especially if you have air superiority and cas you can push quite easily, or if that is too hard you can justify and declare on Belgium with no consequences at the very beginning

If I had to guess. It is your logistics stopping you, and yes you want some infantry divisions with your tanks too. Also do not forget air! You can also send in your navy and naval bomber planes to stop England getting into Belgium completely. As for logistics, just go to the logistics tab, make sure all the numbers are green. You will have a stockpiles box with a number and a daily production box with a number. If either of them are red and negative numbers you are gonna be screwed. If your daily production number is a red negative number it means you are using more guns per day than you are producing per day. and if your daily stockpiles are red and in the negative, it means you have a serious shortage of guns. Stop training all of your troops if your logistics are running out of equipment. Don't forget that sometimes less = better. It is better to have a few divisions that have a better template(more width, more soft attack) and a few really strong hard tank divisions and maybe a dozen light tank divisions(depends on country). This less = more strategy also allows you to stockpile equipment and keep your logistics in the green which is good. Also do not forget supply hubs and railroads! Upgrade your railroads to level 5 from your capital to the front line for for equipment support. You can also use transport planes to airdrop supplies and equipment. Also don't be afraid to attack early in the game when everybody is weak. Germany starts off extremely strong compared to everyone else who take time to catch up with Germany. Also don't be afraid micromanage your troops. Drawing a front line and a offensive live attack arrow works 90% for most things, however you will want to at least keep an eye on a few of your divisions and make sure they aren't being stupid or missing out on gaps in the enemies Frontline which you could do encirclement with. Usually clicking the aggressive arrow helps this. Though with the Soviet union, and for some reason yugoslavia, your troops will push so fast and hard they might encircle themselves on accident, so keep a eye on them and manage them to make sure they do go too far). Also, draw a couple front lines and attack arrows for your infantry and some motorized. Then draw another front line and attack arrow that's really short only covering 1-2 tiles, with your tanks and or motorized, they will be able to push really hard through a tight gap super fast and rush the capital or encircle the troops your main infantry is fighting. You do not even need to do all of these things. Just make sure logistics is good, aggressive attack is on, invade quite early, make sure your troops are getting supplies(railroads, or naval ports, or even air supply from planes) and you should be good. Also putting too many troops in 1 place can cause problems and weaken your army, so just try to be balanced. Not too much, not too little. Make strong troops, and play smart.

Invading England: paratroopers, build shit ton of lvl3 fighters. Plan out from calais france a paradrop into the ports on UK(dover, portsmouth) etc. then set the fighters over for green air(remember to activate attack plan for paras first) then put planes on south England.send in the army and profit
